Chain saw chain tension adjustment steps
Turn off the flame first and loosen the fixing nuts on both sides of the guide plate. You don't need to completely unscrew it, just loosen it.
Find the adjusting screw on the side of the guide plate. Turn the screw clockwise to move the guide plate forward and tighten the chain; turn it counterclockwise to loosen it.
Adjustment standards: Lift the middle part of the chain with your hand, and 1/2 of the tooth will be exposed in the tooth groove of the guide plate. When you let go, the chain will automatically fall back to fit the guide plate without falling or being tight or stuck.
After adjustment, press the guide plate to maintain the position, tighten the fixing nuts on both sides, and then manually pull the chain to confirm that the sliding is smooth and without jamming.
