How to properly maintain a brush cutter?

♦Immediate maintenance after each use
Clean the soil and weed debris outside the fuselage, and thoroughly clean the grass stems and vines entangled in the blade and protective cover.
Remove the air filter element and clean the dust with a brush; if it is seriously clogged, rinse it with clean water, dry it completely and then reinstall it.
Check whether the blade has curled edges, chips, or cracks, and tighten loose screws in time.
Clean the radiator fins and debris to ensure smooth engine heat dissipation.
Drain the remaining mixed oil in the fuel tank to avoid oil deterioration and blockage of the oil circuit after long-term storage.

♦Regular phased maintenance
1. Fuel and oil line maintenance
Mix gasoline and two-stroke special engine oil strictly according to the model ratio. Pure gasoline or low-quality engine oil is prohibited.
Replace the fuel filter element and clean the carburetor nozzle every 20 hours to prevent oil contamination from clogging the fuel supply.
2. Transmission and cutter head maintenance
Add special high-temperature lubricating grease to the drive shaft and gearbox every 30 hours.
The blades should be polished regularly and replaced if deformed or cracked; ensure that the gaskets and nuts are tightened in place during installation.
3. Engine maintenance
Spark plugs should be disassembled and cleaned of carbon deposits every 30 hours. The electrode gap should be maintained at 0.6~0.8mm. If they age, they should be replaced directly.
Check the carbon deposits in the exhaust pipe. If there is excessive carbon deposits, clean them in time to avoid poor exhaust and reduced power.
